Working to achieve the WSIB’s goal of zero injuries.

Environmentall believes that everyone involved in any project should be able to go home safely at the end of the day to his or her family and friends. Job site safety is taken very seriously. We have adopted a “zero injury” policy, based on our commitment to the Construction Safety Association of Ontario. We are pleased to be able to bring additional value to our clients through lower insurance rates for each project and offering the guaranteed security of unsurpassed safety. Resulting from our deep commitment to safety, we have established numerous innovative programs and approaches, which will be put in place on your project.

This accomplishment is achieved by carefully pre-planning all safety requirements and training needs. At the same time, we lead and require the same from our subcontractors as we continue to monitor and review the safety needs for any project, including pre-task planning regarding job hazard analysis.

Environmentall is proactive in our focus on job site safety. Our superintendent along with our safety director will oversee safety programs and training on your site. All on-site personnel will be held accountable for job site safety. Whether a new employee, trade contractor or veteran worker, if they see a hazard or problem they will be empowered and required to fix the problem or inform the superintendent of the hazard.

This effort will provide for an efficient and safe work environment before the task is even started. Crews will know exactly what is being done, who is doing it and what type of tool or equipment is needed for the specific tasks.

The containment of the job site is essential when working in an environment that has immune compromised occupants either living or working in the subject location. Meeting the Infection Control requirement starts with pre-planning, review and coordination with the Infection Control or Safety Officer. Along with our environmental requirements for completing Hazardous Material abatements, we provide the following consulting and hands on services to ensure the CSA requirements are met before any work takes place. The following is a list of some infection control services offered by Environmentall:

  • Infection Control Plan Review

From project management, design build or construction management, Environmentall seeks to clarify the definition of all these terms in the industry. Simply put, we understand that undertaking a construction project is a complex endeavor.

Initiating an understanding of what type of role the owner or client expects to play in the process allows Environmentall to suggest several management styles that meets your time management needs. It is critically important that we clearly articulate these goals for the project to all members of the design and construction team, including the architect, engineer, and sub-contractors.

Construction management firms can help by leveling the playing field between the owner and the sub-contractors, and ensuring that everyone is informed and understands their role, expectations and schedule for completing the project on time.
