We are currently looking for skilled individuals who can fulfill the roles listed below:

Reporting to the Divisional Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

Demolition Duties: Including, but not limited to the following:

  • Use of manual and/or mechanical demolition tools;
  • Application of demolition tools to remove walls, ceilings and/or complete structures;
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites;
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials;
  • Other duties as required by your Supervisor.

Construction Duties: Including, but not limited to the following:

  • General construction duties (carpentry, flooring, framing, painting, etc.);
  • Site prep and clean up;
  • Operate small hand tools, and motorized tools;
  • Other duties as required by your Supervisor.

General Duties: Including, but not limited to the following:

  • Driving company vehicle;
  • Completing weekly timecard;
  • Other duties as required by your Supervisor.

Training/Certificates Required:

  • WHMIS Certificate;
  • Working at Heights Certificate;
  • Worker Health and Safety Certificate.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma preferred;
  • Valid class “G” Driver’s License;
  • CPIC – Vulnerable Sector Clearance;
  • Basic Literacy skills;
  • Willing and able to work in extreme temperatures;
  • Willing and able to follow precise instructions in a careful, methodical and accurate way;
  • Willing and able to follow process and procedures;
  • Willing and able to work in and support a team environment;
  • Commitment to safe working practices.

  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites;
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials;
  • Other duties as required by your Supervisor.

Abatement Duties: Including, but not limited to the following:

  • Use of manual and/or mechanical demolition tools;
  • Application of demolition tools to remove walls, ceilings and/or complete structures;
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites;
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials;
  • Other duties as required by your Supervisor.

General Duties: Including, but not limited to the following:

  • Driving company vehicle;
  • Completing weekly timecard;
  • Other duties as required by your Supervisor.

Training/Certificates Required:

  • WHMIS Certificate;
  • Working at Heights Certificate;
  • Worker Health and Safety Certificate.
  • Asbestos Abatement Worker Course (MTCU 253-W).

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma preferred;
  • Valid class “G” Driver’s License;
  • CPIC – Vulnerable Sector Clearance;
  • Basic Literacy skills;
  • Willing and able to wear restrictive protective clothing including face mask;
  • Willing and able to work in confined spaces;
  • Willing and able to work in extreme temperatures;
  • Willing and able to follow precise instructions in a careful, methodical and accurate way;
  • Willing and able to follow process and procedures;
  • Willing and able to work in and support a team environment;
  • Commitment to being clean shaven for safe respirator fit;
  • Commitment to safe working practices.
